These shadows raise the stakes with looks and functionality - and it's all in the shape of the particles.  Metallic surfaces are more flat, as opposed to the more rounded surface shape of regular shadows.  Different application methods will give completely different looks.

• Brush - Metallic effect is more subdued, but you get more sparkle, if any is present
• Sponge Tip - Deeper metallic effect is achieved with lovely special effects and a little less sparkle
• Wet-Foiling - Dramatic metallic effect is achieved, as well as unparalleled staying power. Less sparkle and some special effects

Try a combination of wet-foiling and brush methods with the same shadow (or other shadows) and be amazed with the looks you can create!
